Volunteers Required
The Odyssey Men's Group Network requires people to help with the organisation of Men's Groups. There are two roles and they are described below. The Odyssey Men's Group Network is a non-profit organisation that has been created to help men find men's groups and to help men's groups flourish.

The work described below will need to be performed in Woollahra, Sydney, though there is scope for other roles in your local communities in coordinating groups in your area.

The office is 5 minutes walk from Bondi Junction bus and train interchange. You will need to be available on two evenings on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday between the hours of 5:30pm and 8:30pm.

Clerical and Telephony

· You will require telephone skills to follow up inquiries from men to join a group.
· It will be preferable that you are yourself a member of a men's group or that you are actively seeking a group.
· You will be computer literate in order to update contact information on men and groups in the Odyssey database (KNOWMEN). This database is periodically and automatically sent to a Web site so that any man in Australia can inquire about the availability of a group in his area.
· Only men need apply as the sensitive nature of the work requires that men contact the men seeking a group.
· Initial 3 month commitment.

Manager/Supervisor

· You will be required to manage two or three of the above clerical staff.
· You will need to liaise with other organisations in improving awareness of Odyssey's role and in bringing awareness of those other organisations to the Odyssey clerical staff.
· You will be required to arrange events held by Odyssey.
· You will arrange director's meetings, take minutes (usually in the form of mindmaps transcribed from a whiteboard) and distribute those minutes to relevant parties.
· There is an initial 6 month commitment.
· You will be required to be flexible with available times
